Here are two of my favorite pictures from the W family taken over the weekend. They haven't had family pictures taken in a long time and it was a pleasure to do it.

The T family just welcomed an addition to their family! Baby D was just 13 days new when we did the photo shoot. Although he was born into a Spartan home I have high hopes he will turn out alright! I just adore this family and the way they let me into their lives; my craziness, my camera and all! Thanks once again for letting me photograph you guys!

This lucky lady had a surprise 60th birthday party over the weekend. After the party I took the opportunity to take a couple family pictures for her. Happy 60th birthday!

Senior boy with style

Not only does this senior boy have style but he has a passion for his truck! If you know me at all then you know that just melts my heart! What an honor to capture this special moment in time for him before he starts off his last year of high school. Thanks so much Steven!



Leighton just before he becomes a big brother

This little guy is about to become a big brother next week! So as a little present to him (well mostly a gift to his parents) I took a few pictures of him today playing at our house. He is going to make an awesome big brother! Congrats Leighton and family!

Ridiculously cute

Cute kids + dirt = ridiculously cute kids. Three days of church camp, about 20 adults, 300 kids. Okay so maybe my numbers are a bit off but that's what it felt like lol! Regardless between my boys, me and my camera it was time well spent!

Choosing to see

Choosing to see. I used to despise this plant. I had one just like this on my property and it took me years to kill it. Literally years. I finally seceded. The problem is there is a fence between the neighbors house and mine. And the other half of this plant lives there. So I guess I just seceded in half way killing it. So it still annoyed me. Yesterday was different.

I decided I was going to make a conscious choice to see things differently. Starting with this. Needless to say I had to grab my camera. As part of this plant is a blur to me; it's purpose, it's existence. Yet after really looking at it (through my cannon) I realize that part of it is kind of cool. And if you get really close, somewhat pretty, a bit interesting. Even this fly think so....

I'd like to think I had this new revelation about this plant. I must admit it was really was more about this underlining issue going on in my life, and less about the plant. You see things different when you CHOOSE to see. Might sound like old news to some of you but it was so powerful to me I wanted to share. How different would your life look if you started choosing to see?

In my own little world

I've been in my own little world this summer. Caught up in seeing the great outdoors through these two little boy's eyes! It's been so much fun, it's went by way too quickly, and I am doing my best at making my family come first the past few months. If you know me you also know that I've slowly been

on this journey that has me more involved serving our mighty king (especially women's ministry).

That pretty much sums up my reasons for not blogging. I hope to get back to you soon.

Born with a testimony

This little baby was just born with a testimony! Words can't even express the miracle God has created within this tiny baby! She is truly the package deal that was sent straight from heaven! She is grace, peace, comfort, selflessness, wonder, love, and so much more that only God can make. What a wonderful maker!

I am so unbelievably blessed to know this family, to have the privilege to pray for her, and to be able to be a inspiration in her life for many years to come! Thanks so much to her parents for sharing her with me, and allowing me and my camera to meet her when she was just three days new!

Hope

Ride for a Reason

Ride for a Reason is a benefit bike parade for the Pendrickson Center in Taylor. This is the 12th year they have done it, and my first year watching. Got a bunch of sweet images I plan to share with the center and Biker Bobs in Taylor that sponsors the event.
